While most heroes wear capes, ours wears an apron and a smile that can brighten even the busiest lunch rush. Ms. Tish isn't just managing meals, she's crafting a family, one kind gesture at a time.
With 16 years of dedication to Klein ISD under her belt, Ms. Tish has left her mark across seven campuses (Haude, Eiland, McDougle, Metzler, Blackshear, Nitsch, and now four incredible years at Kleb). But here's the thing: wherever she goes, love follows. Her staff doesn't just respect her, they adore her. She was even recently gifted a Maltese puppy from her staff for her birthday! Talk about the ultimate "you're the best boss ever" moment! 🐶💕
Before becoming the cafeteria queen we know today, Ms. Tish was a medical assistant. She made the leap to education to sync her schedule with her kids, and guess what? She discovered her true calling. Consistently ranking in the top percentile for manager surveys district-wide, she's proof that when you lead with heart, excellence naturally follows.
Beyond the lunch line, Ms. Tish is a proud mom to three grown children and a devoted grandmother to three lucky grandkids. She's also raising her senior at Klein Forest, who will be joining the Klein ISD Bridge program next year, a journey close to her heart as she champions our special education students every single day.
When she's not creating magic in the cafeteria, you'll find Ms. Tish cruising around with country music playing, shopping with her three sisters, diving into a good book, or worshiping at church. Family, faith, and a good tune—that's the Tish Shelton recipe for joy!

After moving from Mexico to Houston 36 years ago, Christina brought with her a warmth and dedication that has touched every corner of our school. She's not just keeping Kleb sparkling clean; she's been building lasting relationships with students and staff that span over two decades. Talk about leaving a mark that goes way beyond her daily job!
When she's not making Kleb shine, Christina is living her best life as a proud mom of three (two married sons and a daughter still at home) and an absolutely devoted grandmother to four lucky grandkids. Her secret to relaxation? A perfect cup of coffee, her favorite TV shows, and some good music. Sounds like the ideal time to us!
But here's where Christina gets really exciting – she's a woman of many passions! She's a devoted Houston Astros fan who loves catching games at Minute Maid Park whenever she can, and when soccer season rolls around, she's proudly cheering on Team Mexico!
And just when you think she couldn't get any cooler, Christina has discovered her love for adventure! From cruises to exploring Mexico City, she's embracing her travel bug and showing us all how to live life to the fullest!
What keeps Christina motivated after all these years? The pure joy of watching our students grow up, chase their dreams, and achieve their goals. The fact that former students still recognize and remember her years later speaks volumes about the genuine connections she creates every single day.
Ms. Christina is not just our custodian; she's a community builder, dream supporter, and all-around amazing human being! 🌟

From Klein ISD student to Klein ISD educator. Talk about coming full circle! Mrs. Wood's journey from the halls of Lemm Elementary and Schindewolf Intermediate to Klein Collins High School has led her right back home, where she's now inspiring the next generation of scientists.
Armed with her Secondary Education degree from Sam Houston State University and a rock-solid passion for geology (literally – she LOVES rocks! 🪨), Mrs. Wood found her calling in teaching because it lets her explore every fascinating corner of the science universe. Her classroom is where curiosity meets discovery, and her enthusiasm for all things science is absolutely contagious!
When she's not busy making science come alive for her students, Mrs. Wood has quite the collection of hobbies that showcase her adventurous spirit! She's a master LEGO builder who creates epic NASA sets so impressive they once graced her classroom before her bookshelf staged a dramatic collapse. As a devoted Star Wars fan, she knows her way around galaxies far, far away, and thanks to her husband's introduction to the world of D&D, she's now rolling dice in epic adventures while also crafting virtual worlds in Minecraft.
Mrs. Wood's love story is pretty magical, too. She met her husband online during the peak of COVID, proving that even pandemics can't stop true love! Together, they're now raising their beautiful 9-month-old daughter while sharing their home with two amazing dogs: Pike, their gentle giant pitbull, and Bailey, their brilliant Australian Shepherd.
Mrs. Wood truly embodies the spirit of exploration – whether she's uncovering the mysteries of science with her students or discovering new worlds through games and family adventures! 🌟🔬✨
